Judy Xie joined iCross Capital in 2016 and has grown with the firm into her current role as Lead Underwriter and Portfolio Manager. She leads the full credit process from initial screening through closing and ongoing asset management, ensuring every transaction adheres to the firm’s underwriting standards and risk‑management framework.

Judy oversees comprehensive due diligence, coordinates third‑party reports, and collaborates closely with origination, construction, legal, operations, and accounting teams. She ensures that all material risks are identified, analyzed, and mitigated; that lender counsel fully understands lender requirements; and that loan documents incorporate the appropriate covenants and protections. Her disciplined approach contributes to smooth closings and strong post‑closing performance across stabilized, value-added, and ground-up multifamily transactions. 

Since joining the firm, Judy has underwritten and closed approximately $500 million in commercial real estate loans – the majority secured by multifamily properties across New York City and the surrounding region –and currently manages a portfolio of roughly $400 million across bridge, construction and inventory financing. Her analytical rigor and cross‑functional leadership strengthen the Committee’s ability to evaluate complex transactions.
